Moratorium. Ini Keputusan Muktamad Daripada Menteri Kewangan Malaysia. | Tiada caj tambahan dikenakan kepada peminjam sewa beli konvensional dan syariah sepanjang tempoh moratorium pembiayaan.

Menteri Kewangan Datuk Seri Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz berkata, kementerian membuat keputusan itu selepas mencapai kata sepakat dengan industri perbankan.

Beliau berkata, persetujuan dicapai menetapkan bahawa jumlah ansuran bulanan tidak berubah bagi kedua-dua jenis pembiayaan berkenaan.

“Sehubungan itu, peminjam akan perlu menyambung pembayaran ansuran seperti biasa berdasarkan terma perjanjian dengan bank masing-masing.

“Ia termasuk tambahan enam bulan bagi keseluruhan jadual pembiayaan jika memilih untuk memanfaatkan moratorium berkenaan,” katanya.

Tengku Zafrul berkata, maklumat lanjut boleh didapati daripada bank masing-masing.

“Kerajaan berharap keputusan ini akan dapat meringankan beban rakyat dalam tempoh yang mencabar ini,” katanya.
