Teman Isteri Bersalin. Ini Jawapan KKM Buat Ramai SETUJU. | KUALA LUMPUR: Kementerian Kesihatan (KKM) akan mempertimbangkan kebenaran kepada suami yang lengkap dua dos vaksin COVID-19 untuk menemani isteri ketika melahirkan anak.

Perkara itu dimaklumkan Menteri KKM, Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar serta Ketua Pengarah Kesihatan Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah di laman Twitter, pada Isnin.

Kata Khairy, beliau telah meminta Dr Noor Hisham membenarkan perkara berkenaan dilaksanakan.

“Saya telah minta Dr Noor Hisham untuk membenarkan bakal bapa yang lengkap divaksinasi, menjalankan ujian COVID-19 dan sekiranya negatif dibenarkan untuk menemani isteri mereka dalam bilik bersalin,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian selepas ditanya seorang pengguna Twitter agar mempertimbangkan supaya suami dibenarkan untuk menemani isteri di bilik bersalin sekiranya telah lengkap vaksinasi dan melakukan ujian saringan COVID-19.

Sementara itu, Dr Noor Hisham dalam jawapan balasnya turut menyatakan,”Ya, akan melakukan perkara yang diperlukan’.
