Sebuah Bandar Di Australia Dipenuhi Sarang Labah-Labah . | VOCTORIA: Jaring sarang labah-labar besar menyelimuti pokok-pokok dan padang rumput di bandar wilayah Gippsland, wilayah Vistoria, Australia selepas berlaku banjir besar.

Jaringan sarang raksasa yang lebar itu terbentuk setelah kota-kota di negara itu dilanda banjir beberapa waktu lalu.

Memetik laporan The Age, sebaik sahaja banjir tamat, jutaan labah-labah turut memindahkan sarang mereka dari kawasan yang tergenang air ke pokok-pokok di kawasan kering termasuk tanaman penduduk.

Maka terhasillah satu jaringan hamparan sarang labah-labah ibarat selimut sutera.

Fenomena tersebut menciptakan hamparan besar yang halus yang menutupi kawasan antara kota Sale dan Longford.

Pakar serangga di Muzium Victoria, Dr Walker berkata, labah-labah itu menggunakan jalinan tali temali sutera itu untuk menyelamatkan diri dari kawasan yang berair.

“Bagi saya, itu benar-benar indah. Selimut sutera yang bergelombang di seluruh kawasan tanaman,” katanya.

Menurut Walker, untuk menyelamatkan diri, labah-labah yang duduk di tanah perlu segera keluar dengan cara membawa jaringan sarang dan menjaringkan sarang mereka pada tumbuh-tumbuhan.

“Ini juga menunjukkan secara harfiah bahwa puluhan ribu, kalau tidak pun jutaan labah-labah ada di permukaan tanah,” ujar Dr Walker.
