Warga Asing Bersenjata Didakwa Masuk Lahad Datu, Ini Penjelasan Polis. | LAHAD DATU: Tiada sebarang petunjuk ditemukan berhubung dakwaan sekumpulan lelaki bersenjata warga asing menyusup masuk ke Lahad Datu melalui perairan Long Patau, Tambisan pada 28 Jan lalu, kata Pesuruhjaya Polis Sabah Idris Abdullah.

Beliau berkata, pihak Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen Sabah serta Kawalan Keselamatan Khas Pantai Timur Sabah (ESSCom) telah menjalankan tindakan dari sudut risikan dan penyiasatan berkaitan perkara itu.

“Namun begitu, polis bersama pasukan keselamatan lain sentiasa memberikan perhatian mengenai keselamatan di pantai timur Sabah dan Sabah amnya daripada sebarang ancaman luar,” katanya dalam kenyataan, di sini.

Idris dalam pada itu, menasihatkan orang ramai agar tidak bimbang mengenai tahap keselamatan di negeri ini.

Menurut sumber, Bernama difahamkan seorang lelaki mendakwa melihat lebih 10 individu mencurigakan berpakaian celoreng serta bersenjata masuk ke Sabah melalui perairan Long Patau, Tambisan pada minggu lalu.

Lelaki berkenaan juga mendakwa kesemua individu itu dipercayai warga Filipina berdasarkan perbualan menggunakan bahasa Suluk.
